Fireplace Envy....

After spending the Sydney coldest winter day since 1963 at a school sports carnival timing children running, I am going to spend the day inside with the air conditioning on all day.

I have fireplace envy today.

I don't blame you for being envious. These are fantastic!

One of the best things that me and my Mr. did was to decide to buy our home with a fireplace! It is the one thing in our home that everyone envies. New homes today are being built sans fireplace. Seems a crime to me. We love the smells, the cold wintry nights when a fire and a good book take us places, right in the comfort of our home. "Hot" collection!

Wow, what a great collection of fireplaces! It's summertime here, but for a moment, found myself wanting to curl up next to a huge, crackling fire.

So many beautiful fireplaces - I'm not sure which one I would choose. Brisbane has been cold the last few nights, so a crackling fire would be just perfect. I'm trying to pretend that a group of candles is a sufficient substitute!

Love the fireplace by the pool and the one with the long white sofa in front of it ... living Palm Springs I see a great deal of fire places similar to that. Great job on finding cool places....
