 Balance is one of the principals of design.........symmetrical balance also known as formal balance and is basically a space with mirror image effect.   Balance can be used in colour, patterns as well, textures really any detail you want to play with...............enjoy!

Scrapbook favs.....


Over the school break I have had a chance to browse through my little inspiration folder.......and once again have fallen for some fabulous inspirational homes !!

This one is a gorgeous home was featured in Home Beautiful magazine and in 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine as well........owned by artist Amanda Brooks and set in the gorgeous surrounds of Noosa in Qld........I just melt at the calming colours / tones and the textures.......ahhhhh

Neutral Bliss

ahhhhhhhhhhhh in the latest issue of Real Living Magazine, Tim Neve has created a neutral schemed beach side apartment that I am drooling over.  I aready had the issue sitting on my coffee table but it took Decor 8 show me what was waiting for me ...... I love that Tim uses MY clock below...makes me feel uber cool :)
