Ebay Table...HELP !!!......anybody know how to do this ??

I have found a table on ebay that may be suitable for my little project ..........BUT I don't know ........anybody know ANYTHING about sanding back and painting or white washing / liming ???? The auction finishes today !!!!!!!!!

If the price is right I'd grab that table - the lines are great! When I've painted furniture before I've sanded, primed twice w/thin coats and then painted. When I refinished my grandmother's table I used Formby's stuff and it turned out well. If you want to do another treatment I'm sure you'd be able to find directions. Also - thanks for the color inspiration board you sent. I went to the paint store today - hope to post my sample boards this weekend.

grab it. there's so much info online but I've used a wash that I love from the Old Milk paint company (or something like that- I'll send you the exact name) & you should definitely be able to achieve this look!!

And the sanding is simple- get a belt sander & it'll take that finish right off!!

I let it go......the price wasn't right for a first time project...plus I'm going off the idea of a round table....sigh...back to the drawing board.

Rhoda @ SouthernHospitality just did a post with a tutorial about re-doing a table just like this! You DID get it, didn't you??
