The indoor garden...

The entrance of my home is a lovely wide brick paved foyer.... but it was leading up to an indoor garden....this just doesn't work when you have 5 cats - it really had to go.

To our surprise the garden had no base......it when straight down under the house - which was so impractical in a leafy suburb like ours.....perfect termite territory.

Time for our first project !!

........ in keeping with the exotic Mediterranean feeling of this home I sourced some amazing hand painted Spanish tiles  from a company in Brisbane....www.oldworldtiles.com.au/.

I couldn't go past the colour in these tiles.

We dug out the garden.....and put in a concrete base ready to be tiled. 

We are building a internal water feature aghhhhhhhhh !!!!!
